Colin Yan: Chief Customer, Digital & Security Officer
Colin Yan is a seasoned ICT sales professional, has over 20 years of new business development and field consulting experience with multinational companies in the Asia Pacific Region, including China’s One Belt, One Road countries.
For the past 20+ years, Colin was a successful sales and business development leader for enterprise software companies such as IBM, BEA, SAP, Oracle and most recently Barracuda. In Barracuda, Colin led customer facing account teams to cover end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, new business development, system engineering and customer success. Throughout the years Colin has demonstrated his proven record in making all customers as successful as possible and has built up his strong reputation as an excellent trusted partner with Fortune 500 clients, government, and NGOs. Colin advises C-level clients with the latest cloud computing strategies, software as a service (SaaS) covering a full suite of business applications, including HCM, CRM, ERP, ITSM, cyber security tools etc.
Currently based in Hong Kong, Colin graduated from Queen Mary University London, with BS degree in Physics and Electronics, and MBA degree from Durham Business School, University of Durham. Colin speaks fluent Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Colin plays piano and badminton during leisure time, and he also enjoys running and hiking.
Colin is a key member of the Office of the Chairman. He will also support Chairman to drive the next phase of digital transformation on the topic of Web3, AI, and advanced cyber security.
